Hello Ranges,

As from 11:59 pm tonight (Thursday 17 June) community sport will be returning to Victoria and that means HOCKEY IS BACK!

Matches for all grades will go ahead this weekend so refer to Team App or the Hockey Victoria website ( https://www.revolutionise.com.au/vichockey/games/ ) to ensure you are aware of your match times and locations.

Please be aware that for now, government rules for community sport do not permit any spectators to attend our games. Only players and team officials are permitted. Those who need to accompany children, such as parents, guardians and carers may also attend.

There have also been some changes made to this season’s fixtures and formats.

JUNIORS:
The standard 14 round season will be maintained for the full field teams (U14/16). To facilitate this, additional playing dates of Friday 9th of July and Friday 27th of August have been added. The grand finals have been moved to Friday 10th/Saturday 11th of September.

Term 2 half field competitions will conclude as previously scheduled and HV will soon call for teams for Term 3.

SENIORS AND MASTERS:
For Masters, fixtures have been changed to ensure all teams will play each other once.

The season will be reduced to 16 matches. There is no change to the finals format or dates.
